George Clooney, following his good friend Brad Pitt, plans to start producing wine. Clooney will produce the wine from grapes grown at his Domaine de Canadel estate, which he purchased with his wife, Amal, and which already had a small vineyard of 4 hectares established, Var-Matin newspaper reports.
The plan involves wine consultant to the stars Laurence Berlaymont, who previously worked at the Pitt-Jolie estate, as well as at George Lucas' Château Margüi estate. Berlaymont said that Clooney was engaged in the blending of the wine. “He shares his thoughts with us, he has good taste, he is a very modest person.”
She even said that the wine would be called “La Bastide Saint-Georges.” The aforesaid estate boasts vineyards, a lake, olive groves, a swimming pool and tennis courts, making it an ideal holiday destination in the south of France. George Clooney’s garden is considered one of the most beautiful in Provence.
